This is pretty much a love song to J. Sometimes the weight of everything gets too much, you have days/weeks where everything seems really mundane and repetitive, especially in winter - you wish you could become a magical genie and pick everything up and fly away to somewhere with no problems or worries. it’s funny how the release of this song has tied in with everyone being locked down in their homes, I hope people listening can feel like they’re being flown away from all the rubbish going on right now and have a laugh at the thought of TJ flying around the world in ‘Stellar’.

It sounds silly but I always wanted to write a song where I ‘sing the riff’ - having an instrument plays the same melody as the vocal, there are so many songs I love where that happens. There was a special moment when Beni (who co produced the song with me) played the ‘don’t need to know’ guitar lick over the beat, it gave it this super playful feeling that ended up being at the centre of the whole song!
